Fortnite is a free-to-play battle royale video game, but thanks to its Item Shop, it generates billions of dollars in yearly revenue. Item Shop is the game’s digital store that lets players buy a wide range of in-game cosmetic items by using the in-game currency called V-Bucks. Epic Games is finally making a long-overdue change to the way V-Bucks are purchased. Here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite V-Bucks Exact Amount offer.

Fortnite V-Bucks Exact Amount Offer Details
Epic Games has announced it will finally allow players to buy the exact amount of V-Bucks needed. This means if an item that you want to buy from the Item Shop costs 1,000 V-Bucks and you already have 600 V-Bucks in your wallet, you can choose to buy only the remaining 400 V-Bucks. It is a major change for players who have been asking for the flexibility in purchases for a long time.
As you can see in the image shared by Epic Games, players will be able to buy 400 V-Bucks for just $3.99 via the Exact Amount offer. It is a huge savings over paying $8.99 for 1,000 V-Bucks, even though you do not need that many V-Bucks. Players had no choice but to pay extra money to get more V-Bucks than they needed or to avoid buying the item completely before this change.

A lot of well-known titles like Valorant and Call of Duty already offer the ability to buy an exact amount of in-game currency for buying cosmetic items. It is good to see Epic Games finally listening to its players and following suit.
The official announcement further reveals Fortnite’s Exact Amount V-Bucks will be available in increments of 50. It will also round up the V-Bucks balance of every Fortnite player to the nearest 50 on October 10. It means if your balance is 680, it will be rounded off to 700. For someone with a balance of 630, it will be rounded off to 650.
