Sony has revealed that the Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition PS5 console and accessories will go on pre-order starting September 4 at 10 AM local time. These products will launch on October 4, the same day as the release of the next PlayStation 5 exclusive title, Ghost of Yotei.

Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition PS5 Bundle: What’s Unique?
As the name suggests, the Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition PS5 bundle features design elements inspired by the upcoming action-adventure video game Ghost of Yotei. The game is a stand-alone sequel to the 2020 hit Ghost of Tsushima.
The special bundle includes a PlayStation 5 console and accessories featuring the same design, available in either Gold or Black. The console’s side plates have a design of Mt. Yotei, a historic location in the modern world of Hokkaido, Japan. The region is known as Ezo in the game, as its story takes place hundreds of years ago.
Both the back of the console’s top cover and the DualSense controller will have a special maker’s seal engraved with PlayStation shapes. The Gold color versions have designs drawn with inspirations taken from a Japanese art form called Kintsugi. It is a traditional repairing process where broken ceramics are repaired with lacquer and gold. The Black color version is inspired by Sumi-e, another Japanese art form where black ink is used for paintings.
