Following the major “Old Deep Water Dies, by Rising Tide It is Denied” update, Arknights: Endfield has unveiled another event for your Endministrator called “Survival Training.” Unlike the Umbral Monument, however, this one is not permanent and has a limited-time run for you to complete its missions and, more importantly, obtain its rewards.

Event Availability and Schedule
According to Arknight: Endfield’s maker, Gryphline, the Survival Training event will be available during the following period:
- Start Date: April 9, 2026, at 12:00 (Server Time).
- End Date: April 30, 2026, at 04:00 (Server Time).
Server Time Zones:
- Asia: UTC+8.
- Americas / Europe: UTC-5.
Much like other smaller in-game events, this one features a staggered release. Its content will not be available all at once and will instead be delivered daily. Since the event starts on April 9, the first two stages are already available. From Day 3 onward, a new stage will unlock each day until all eight are available.
This means the Survival Training event will be fully accessible by April 16. Players will then have a 14-day window to complete everything if they choose to wait rather than progress daily.
Entry Process and Requirements
To participate in Survival Training, players must meet a specific but fairly easy progression milestone in the main story. You must complete Chapter I Process II: Paving the Way to unlock the event. Once this requirement is met, you can access the event through the in-game Event Center.
If you have been following the main quest, you will recognize this mission as the one immediately after the Fort Showdown, where you fight the first major boss, Rhodagn. In other words, most players will reach this requirement very early on.
Event Progression and Mission Stages
In practical terms, Survival Training consists of eight challenge stages, each featuring special stipulations or unique rules that alter the flow of combat. Endministrators must adapt their strategies to these varying conditions in order to succeed. Some examples include:
- Explosives Only: One stage requires players to hold back waves of Landbreakers using only Industrial Explosives rather than standard operator skills.
- Unique Environments: Other stages introduce hazards such as Acid Originium Slugs scattered throughout the battlefield, creating environmental pressure while you fight boss enemies.
Additionally, clearing all eight stages rewards players with an engraved medal exclusive to the event. For those seeking an extra challenge, clearing the final stage within a specific time limit will trim the medal, marking a perfect completion..
Survival Training Event Rewards
Completing the challenge stages and meeting specific mission objectives will net you a variety of valuable progression materials and cosmetic items:
- Oroberyls: Premium currency used for various in-game purchases and headhunting.
- Portrait: Expert Survivor: A unique profile cosmetic to showcase your completion of the event.
- Mark of Perseverance: A rare material used for advanced operator and weapon progression.
- Advanced Progression Selection Crate I: A reward box that allows you to choose specific high-level materials.
- T-Credits and Protoprisms: Essential resources for character development and factory upgrades.
Final Thoughts
All in all, the Survival Training event in Arknights: Endfield is not what you would call a major update. As part of Version 1.1’s planned content, it serves more as a bridge toward what comes next.
Recently, Gryphline introduced two major pull banners that make up the bulk of this update, featuring Rossi and Tangtang as playable characters, along with their respective missions and signature weapons. Rossi remains available until April 14. While there is no official confirmation yet for Version 1.2, it is hinted that Mi Fu and Zhuang Fangyi may be featured as future pullable characters, as both appear in the latter half of the main storyline. This update is expected, though not confirmed, to arrive sometime in May.
