July is almost done and August is right around the corner. And as another month swings by, we have a bunch of new game releases coming up—and some of them are juicy (or at least they promise to be).
Two main heavyweights stand out: Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater, Konami’s remake of the 2004, PlayStation 2 hit (and probably one of the best in the entire franchise) comes out on all main platforms minus the Switch; and Mafia: The Old Country shows up a little earlier, on the beginning of the month, also on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
However, August’s video game releases also have some other notable entries, from Kirby to Shinobi, through Demon Slayer and Gradius, the eighth month of 2025 is looking to be pretty interesting. Check out the full calendar below!
