More Details

Hey there! I’m Bilawal, a videogame reviewer at PlayRatedGames. I have a background in Software Engineering and tech, so my job here is pretty enjoyable. Getting to test out new gaming goodies and getting to play, I mean test, videogames during work hours? This is the life.

I’ve been gaming since 1996, when my uncle got me a PlayStation One for my birthday. From Dino Crisis to Gran Tourismo, I’ve played anything and everything my cousins could lend me. Moved to the PlayStation 2, then Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4, and now I own the holy trinity of consoles. As for the games I love, I’m an RPG fan through-and-through. Any game that has role-playing elements is a game made for me; yes, I even enjoyed The Crew. Cyberpunk? Starfield? Elder Scrolls? Persona? Hades? I’ve said yes to them all.

Tinkering with custom controllers, listening to the keystrokes of a mechanical keyboard, and yelling to test the noise-cancelation quality of headphones are part of my workweek. Any device I review actually gets used by me for at least a whole week. The games I review also get at least a complete play-through.
