Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 release date is still marked as November 14th, despite what some rumors have been saying as of late. The word comes from Activision itself, with the American publisher stating that, regardless of which edition you pre-purchased, no buyer would get any form of early access to the game.

The statement comes after rumors went viral on the internet stating that whoever pre-purchase the game’s Vault Edition would see its own Black Ops 7 release date be moved up three days earlier — from November 14th to November 11th, to be precise.

To be fair, major games by major publishers have offered early access of several kinds for buyers who invested good money on its more prized editions — Ghost of Yotei did this rather recently, in fact. Alas, such is not the case this time, and the next iteration of one of the most popular first-person shooters in the industry (and one that is seriously in need of putting the work in given the success seen in the competition) will follow its original plans.

What you’ll get if you buy the Black Ops 7 Vault Edition

As with pretty much any cash grab money-making maneuver these days, Black Ops 7 Vault Edition brings forth the main game and a bunch of other shenanigans, of which you’ll obviously pay more to have access to.

Such shenanigans include:

  • Mastercraft Collection: 5 Mastercraft Weapons
  • Ultra GobbleGum Pack for Zombies: 8 GobbleGums of Ultra rarity for Black Ops 7

And just to make sure, as we’re seeing some chatter about it as Black Ops 7 release date approaches: yes, even though Microsoft owns Activision, the game will still come out for PlayStation platforms as well.
