Bubsy 4D brings the orange bobcat back in what’s easily his most polished outing yet, finally giving the series a 3D platformer that feels tight, responsive, and surprisingly fun to 100%. It’s also a relatively short game, which makes chasing full completion feel less like a grind and more like a natural extension of playing through each planet properly.
There are 17 achievements in total (or 18 if you include the Platinum on PlayStation). On paper, that sounds straightforward. In practice, you’ll need to fully complete the game: clear every level, collect every collectible, beat all time trials, and take on a few bonus challenges that test how well you’ve actually mastered Bubsy’s movement.
Below is a complete breakdown of every achievement and how to unlock them.

Tips to Get 100% Completion

Most achievements in Bubsy 4D are designed to stack naturally as you progress through each planet. You’ll typically clear levels first, then return to clean up collectibles and time trials. The Item Sniffer ability is the most important tool for completion, especially when tracking down Blueprints and missing yarn. It removes most of the frustration from exploration and makes replay runs much smoother.
Boss fights gradually ramp up in complexity, with Baaptiste combining mechanics from earlier encounters. While none are overwhelming, consistency matters more than speed in later fights.
The biggest challenge is Nine Lives Mode, which requires you to complete the entire game with only nine total hits allowed. There are no shortcuts here, so familiarity with enemy patterns and level layouts is essential.
