Recently crowned Game of the Year 2025 at the Game Awards (and recently uncrowned Indie Game major winner at the Indie Game Awards), Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one hell of a game. We, in fact, thought it was so good we did two reviews of the damn thing — one in writing, one in video.
And since we’re obviously not alone in this conclusion, Amazon has seen it to restock the game’s “Mirror Edition” — which is exclusive to the American marketplace. And it is something of a special edition, alright:
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 — Mirror Edition: this is what you get
If you haven’t seen much in terms of marketing promotion regarding Clair Obscur’s Mirror Edition, well, blame Amazon: like we said, this special version of the game was sold exclusively by it and it’s not like studio Sandfall Interactive nor publisher Kepler Interactive could offer it themselves outside of this specific deal.
Still, this is Amazon we’re talking about, and they’re big enough to compensate for any lack of sales that taking the edition to other marketplaces might’ve incurred. So much so it got sold out rather quickly.
Well, no más: Amazon has restocked the damn thing, with all its collectibles and a price that matches the standard game’s launching price of $60. Given that you’re paying standard for a bunch of extra fluff, I’d say this is a nice enough deal for your end of year spending.
What extra fluff, you might ask? Well…
- Physical copy of the game.
- New steelbook case.
- Three collectible art cards.
- Oversized display box featuring new artwork.

This, your eagle eyes would notice, is quite different from the other collector’s edition of the game, like the “Lumiére Edition” (which is arguably better and also sold on Amazon, although currently unavailable).
As for the Mirror Edition, it is available in PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series form, although Sony users might wanna hurry: last time this came around, theirs was the first version to sell out.
