Square Enix has released Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade free demo for Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2. The demo version comes a little over a month ahead of the game’s full release. It will help players get an idea of the game’s visuals and performance on their particular device. They can decide if buying the full game is worth the price. Here is everything you need to know about the demo, including the downloading process.
How to Download Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Free Demo?
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade free demo is available for download via the Xbox Store and Nintendo eShop. It can be played on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. The demo version will let you play the game’s opening chapter starring the mercenary Cloud Strife and the underground resistance group Avalanche. They have joined forces in an attempt to destroy a Mako Reactor that powers the dystopian city of Midgar. They will eventually find themselves in the center of a larger conflict while fighting against Shinra Electric Power Company.
The good thing is that your saved progress from the demo version will carry over to the full game. If you decide to buy the full game and carry over saved demo data, you will get “Revival Earrings” and “Survival Set” bonus items to claim.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Release Date and Pre-order Bonuses
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is set to release on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox on PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. You can pre-order the game for special bonuses. Square Enix is offering the original Final Fantasy 7 for a limited time to anyone who pre-orders the remake version. This limited-time bonus will be available until January 31, 2026.
Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition pre-orders of the game come with a “Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Play Booster”. Each booster contains 15 randomly assorted cards. Since this bonus is tied to the physical edition, you will need to get one before the stock is exhausted. Do note that the physical edition is essentially a game key card for Nintendo Switch 2. This means you will still need to download the game, and it is expected to take around 90GB of storage space.
