Fisch, one of the most popular fishing games in the Roblox universe, rolled out its latest update, “The Scoria Reach,” on February 15, 2026. With it came a wave of new items for dedicated players to chase.
One of those items is the powerful Igneous Rupturer, a fishing rod with impressive stats designed for the most committed anglers. Of course, that kind of reward comes with a fair share of hoops and difficulty before you can claim it.
That’s where we come in. Described as a “blade forged in the heart of a living volcano,” the Igneous Rupturer stands out as the centerpiece of the new update. Here’s how you can get your hands on it, but let’s first discuss what exactly the Igneous Rupturer is and its stats.
What is the Igneous Rupturer?
The Igneous Rupturer is an endgame fishing rod built for players who value stability and raw power when reeling in the game’s toughest fish. Unlike most rods, it comes with an infinite weight limit (inf kg) and a specialized Hunt Focus tailored for the Skeletal Leviathan. Its core stats are well-rounded, offering 60% Lure Speed, 100% Luck, 0.3 Control, and 85% Resilience.
Beyond those base numbers, the rod also carries strong passive effects. It grants a 5% Progress Speed boost and can trigger a hit every 2.8 seconds, with a 5-second recharge. On top of that, there is a 30% chance to apply the Igneous mutation to your catch, along with a smaller chance to apply the Hexed mutation.
Where is Scoria Reach?
Not just the name of Fischl’s update, Scoria Reach is also a volcanic island located far behind The Laboratory at coordinates -4806, 138, -1368.
As the update’s entire context implies, it is one hot, boiling place — so hot, in fact, that you’ll have to wear the Scoria Armor throughout the entire exploration, otherwise you won’t survive long enough to get the coveted item.
Step-by-step Guide to Get Igneous Rupturer in Roblox’s Fisch
The process for obtaining the Igneous Rupturer in Roblox’s Fisch is, well, convoluted, to put it mildly. It’s a multi-stage endeavor that not only will demand a large degree of preparation, but also a large sum of resources — yes, even after you jump through all the hoops, you still have to pay for it (spoiler: it’s not cheap).
So, before anything else, you must satisfy three major requirements:
- Reach Level 500 or higher.
- Accumulate over 20,000 XP in your Rods Bestiary.
- Achieve 100% completion of the Scoria Reach Bestiary, which includes catching every fish and collecting every item native to the island.
Now, the fun really begins, as you’ll have to find and activate the Igneous Altar. Finding its location is easy enough — it is right under the large crab NPC. In order to activate it, though, you’ll have to sacrifice 11 pearls, in the following order:
- Top 4 Sockets (Found at Scoria Reach): Ashy, Sulfur, Obsidian, and Igneous Pearls. You can farm these by catching Lava Clams at the first lava pool using Coal bait.
- Bottom 7 Sockets (Found elsewhere): Pearl, Gilded, Rose, Mauve, Deep, Aurora, and the Golden Sea Pearl. These are most commonly found at Roslit Bay.
To place a pearl, hold it in your hand, stand in the orange circle at the altar, and press ‘E’.
Next, head to the Scoria Mines to the right of the Scoria Guard. Take the elevator down and give your pearls to the dancing crabs. After five minutes, they may reward you with one of three rare fragments: Sulfur, Infernal, or Obsidian.
Once collected, these fragments must be placed on pedestals located across Scoria Reach:
- Sulfur Fragment: Beside the first lava pool (-5181, 160, -1187).
- Infernal Fragment: At the top of the volcano (-5607, 262, -1731).
- Obsidian Fragment: Beside the Infernal Isonade abundance (-5642, 163, -1685).

After activating the altar and placing all fragments, put on your Scoria Armor and enter the Scoria Volcano. You must fish inside the volcano using the Daybreaker Rod. This specific action triggers a secret cavity to open beneath the central area.
And now, finally, you can get the Igneous Rupturer rod, which is to be found in a newly opened secret chamber…for sale.
Yup, we said it wasn’t gonna be cheap. You better have 5,000,000C$ lying in your pockets, otherwise everything you just did will become moot, and you won’t walk away with your new, shiny item.
Oh, and a bit of a warning: once you do buy the Igneous Rupturer, the platform beneath you will vanish, dropping you straight into the lava.

Oh, and a pro tip: despite being tough to get and a pretty good rod stat-wise, the Igneous Rupturer, in its base form, is not to be considered and end game level item, so if you want to take to some high-level angling, apply enchantments buffs to maximize its potential.
