So, there’s a new Super Mario movie coming up, and a whole bunch of stuff about it got leaked from the stupidest of places: Pillsbury — the baking product company that we don’t have in Brazil but American Amazon consumers seem particularly fond of.

Anyway, the image below pretty much says it all: a new ad, published by Pillsbury itself (still online at the time of this writing, although who knows for how long), features Yoshi front and center, while in the background, you can easily see the Comet Observatory — a.k.a. Mario’s base of operations of the first Super Mario Galaxy game.

Nintendo has confirmed in the past that the new Super Mario movie will be based on Super Mario Galaxy shenanigans.

But that’s not all: these new leaks from the new Super Mario Movie are also noticeable on the back of the packaging, where you can see a graffiti-looking icon that looks just like Bowser Jr.

Both Yoshi, the observatory and Blowser Jr., mind you, were either loosely rumored and not confirmed, or not even talked about at all. You can find both images below in case Pillsbury removes the earlier posting.

Obviously, because Nintendo is Nintendo, the Japanese company has yet to come forward with a comment (at this rate, however, nobody expects it to do so…)

The new Super Mario movie was already the target of several rumors online, before being finally confirmed with a teaser promoted during Nintendo’s Direct stream in September. Back then, the company confirmed it’s repeating its partnership with Illumination Studios, which was responsible for the animation behind the first flick.

Also at that time, Nintendo confirmed an April 3, 2026 theatrical release.
