Sony has officially unveiled the September lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. This month’s refresh will include a total of eight titles, headlined by WWE 2K25 and Persona 5 Tactica. It is important to note that the PS Plus Game Catalog library and updates are different from the free games Sony offers each month. Its lineup of September free monthly games includes Stardew Valley.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog September 2025 Update Details
The official announcement reveals that every game in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog September 2025 lineup will be available for download from September 16. Since these are not monthly free games, you do not have to redeem them manually to add them to your library. All you need is a valid and active PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscription. This is because Game Catalog is not a part of the PS Plus Essential tier.

WWE 2K25 (PS4 and PS5)
WWE 2K25 is the latest official WWE video game from 2K. It is the title with the biggest WWE roster yet, featuring the newest superstars like Penta, Stephanie Vaquer, and Guilia. This year’s 2K Showcase revolves around The Bloodline Dynasty and is hosted by “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman. Other noteworthy changes include intergender matches, Bloodline Rules matches, a new MyRise storyline, and a new The Island mode.
Persona 5 Tactica (PS5 and PS4)
Persona 5 Tactica is a turn-based strategy game and part of the popular Persona series. It was released in 2023, but has its events taking place concurrently with Persona 5 (2016). The Phantom Thieves group finds themselves in a different realm where citizens are suffering from war and oppression. They form an alliance with the Rebel Corps, a group of freedom fighters, to confront their enemies and bring peace to the realm.
Green Hell (PS5 and PS4)
Green Hell is an open-world survival simulator where our protagonist is stuck in the Amazonian rainforest. You will have to rely on your crafting, hunting, fighting, and survival skills to make it out alive from the harsh and unforgiving conditions of the jungle. The game features both single-player and multiplayer co-op modes.
