Sony has officially unveiled the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers for console and PC gamers. These are the newest additions to Sony’s Pulse lineup of gaming audio products, featuring Pulse Explore wireless buds and Pulse Elite wireless headset. These portable speakers can be connected to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation Portal, PC, or Mac. They support Bluetooth and PlayStation Link connectivity for seamless transition among multiple devices.
Sony Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers Features
The Pulse Elevate are the first wireless speakers from Sony Interactive Entertainment. These are meant to deliver an immersive, real-world gaming audio experience to the gamers. They are also aiming to be the one-stop solution for all your gaming audio needs, regardless of the platform you love to game on.
Sony says Pulse Elevate speakers are loaded with planar magnetic drivers that help it deliver “lifelike desktop audio”. These will support Tempest 3D AudioTech on compatible PS5 games while gaming on the PlayStation 5. They also have built-in woofers for a richer bass experience. Players can adjust EQ, sidetone, volume, and mic mute settings directly via system menus for a personalized audio experience.
PlayStation Link technology will help these speakers deliver ultra-low latency and seamless multi-device connectivity. Since these also support Bluetooth, players will be able to listen simultaneously via a PlayStation Link-connected device for in-game audio and a separate Bluetooth-enabled device for music, voice chat, and more. The speakers will come with a PlayStation Link USB adapter that will work with USB-C ports.
The speaker’s built-in mic will utilize AI-powered noise reduction to help players focus on sounds that matter. It has a rechargeable battery that makes it portable, especially when using it with the PlayStation Portable. The speakers will come with charging docks to help you charge them when you are gaming on a console or desktop. Sony has not shared any specific numbers yet, but claimed “hours of battery life”.
Sony Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers Price and Availability
Sony has announced that the Pulse Elevate wireless speaker will launch sometime in 2026. There are no words on the pricing yet, but considering other Pulse audio products, these should also cost somewhere between $200-$300. The newly unveiled speakers will be available in Midnight Black and White colors.
