So, Nintendo will no longer offer the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle. The launch package, which consists of the new version of the console/tablet hybrid and the latest iteration of the Japanese giant’s racing series, helped shape the initial commercial strategy when the Switch 2 came out in June this year.
While the company did not provide an exact reason why it’s choosing to follow that route, it is now confirmed that its focus will shift towards Switch 2 as a standalone offer, and current bundles still at large on most marketplaces are on a “buy-now-while-it-lasts” status, with no replacements in sight.
Given that context, a lot of marketplaces are running promotions, sales and discounts on the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle. Some of them are at full price, some are not, but they all have one, obvious goal: clear the stocks as soon as possible.
One such place is Amazon, who lists the bundle at $450 — that is fifty bucks less than its original price point — here it is, if you’re interested.

Yeah, not a physical copy, but a download code of the game’s digital version. It’s Nintendo being Nintendo and, honestly, the whole “physical copy for Switch 2” is a very worn out debate at this point — they ain’t changing it, cry as we might.
Still, the Switch 2 is a very popular piece of equipment for your gaming needs, with the added benefit of being highly portable. Meanwhile, Mario Kart World might be a fun game and all, but there are better options out there…
