WWE 2K26 MyGM mode is all set to receive its biggest overhaul in the last few years. Players will be able to enjoy a more intense experience this year with longer seasons, bigger budgets, more match types, and advanced AI, among other notable changes. WWE 2K26 is set to release worldwide on March 13, and we have already covered this year’s Showcase Mode.
Let’s have a deep dive into all the features and improvements that you will get to experience as you become your favorite WWE brand’s General Manager.
WWE 2K26 MyGM Mode: Season Setup
The first step towards enjoying a WWE 2K MyGM mode gameplay is the process of setting up your new season. This is the phase where you choose season settings like difficulty level, opening budget, win condition, Hall of Fame trophies, shake-ups, power cards, and more.
It gives you the freedom and flexibility to make each new playthrough unique. One of the biggest changes coming to WWE 2K26 MyGM season setup process is bigger opening budget options.

Your opening budget can now be between $3M and $7M, which will allow you to have an average roster size of about 20-35 superstars per brand. The default opening budget for everyone would be $5M. 2K has further added a new difficulty level called Immortal for veterans of the mode who seek a bigger challenge.

WWE 2K26 MyGM Mode: Other New Changes
WWE 2K26 MyGM mode will typically have a season lasting for about 50 weeks. This is almost twice the season length you get on WWE 2K25 MyGM. This will have both positive and negative effects on your season, depending on how you approach it.
While a longer season will give managers more time to work on superstar characters, stories, and rivalries, it also means there are higher chances of superstars getting injured or fatigued. The good news is that during the mid-season (after 25 weeks), you will be able to choose up to 6 superstars from your roster to boost stamina and morale for the rest of the season.

2K has added support for double booking a superstar. This means you can now have a superstar cut a promo and wrestle a match on the same day. But as you might have guessed, this will also have an impact on his stamina. Additionally, you will have to be careful with double booking, especially when choosing slots for promos and matches.
If a superstar gets injured before his promo, that promo will get cancelled. The team has also added Invasion promos, where you can send one of your superstars to a rival brand to cut a promo. A good promo will help you steal some of their fans, but a bad promo will have the opposite effect.
Power Cards are an integral part of the WWE 2K MyGM experience. Players will be able to disable the Power Card Store entirely this year if they want to. Since this year’s mode will have a longer season, players will get up to 20 challenges to complete in a season. They will earn a Hall of Fame trophy for completing every five challenges. And yes, 2K has finally added the ability to sort superstars on the basis of Ring Level during Draft.
