So, after the Game Awards ceremony last week, Sony decided to hold its own “Best of” poll, asking fans to choose which was the best thing that PlayStation had in the year of 2025 and, yup, Ghost of Yōtei pulled a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and won nearly everything it was nominated on.

Not that this is at all surprising: Ghost of Yōtei is a PlayStation 5 exclusive (with a limited edition to boot) that had very favorable reviews — including our own — and surely enough, the game slashed through over 3 million copies sold in a short time.

Granted, the PlayStation Blog awards are not in the same level of competition as TGAs, but it does bear some weight as it shows where PlayStation fans’ preferences tend to lie — which is data Sony can use to shape its strategies for the next year (or so we hope…).

At any rate, there are some nice surprises in some of the categories. Read on to find out who won what.
