Sony just revealed its last update of PlayStation Plus monthly games of the year. This time around, the PlayStation maker decided to go for the numbers, offering not the usual three, but five games for free (or, at least as we say every month, as “free” as it could be under a paid subscription service).

While the games themselves are no top shelf occupiers, they are still highly recognizable, coming from a wide range of genres. You can find the complete list below:

  • LEGO Horizon Adventures | PS5
  • Killing Floor 3 | PS5
  • The Outlast Trials | PS4, PS5
  • Synduality Echo of Ada | PS5
  • Neon White | PS4, PS5

Oh, right. We should also tell you that Stray, WRC 24 and TABS – Totally Accurate Battle Simulator — a.k.a. the three PlayStation Plus monthly games for November, will be available for download only until December 1st, which is next Monday. So if you feel like playing as a cat doing cat things at the end of the world, you should probably get to it.

As for “how” you’ll get to it…

How to redeem PlayStation Plus monthly games

Unlike its major catalog update (which hasn’t come for December just yet), the PlayStation Plus monthly games are available for free for every subscriber, regardless of tier plan (note: for a full explainer on PlayStation Plus plans and prices, see here).

In short, these games are yours to use (not “have”) as long as you remain an active, paying member of the PS Plus service. Lose the membership, however, and you’ll lose access to the games themselves (they’ll still be accounted for in your personal library, and will be readily available again as soon as you become a member once more).

As an active subscriber, all you have to do is access the PlayStation Plus icon on your console (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5), the web page or the official app (available for iOS and Android). Once in it, the banner for the monthly games should be the first or second thing you see. Tap/click that and start downloading.

Just be mindful of platform compatibility: some of the games above are available only for PS5, not PS4 or earlier. Not that this is of any surprise, given the fact that the PS4 is on its last days
