Sony revealed the free PS Plus November games and, you guessed it, Stray is the main highlight, essentially confirming what was once rumored.
The so-called “adventure game with a cat” was one of Sony’s main offers back in 2022, when the publisher revamped the store for a more tiered model that brought closer to Xbox’s Game Pass — Stray came out as a day one release back then, and it was available for subscribers for a year before being pulled out.
Now, the offer comes back as a PlayStation Plus Essential “freebie” — or rather, as “free” as you get when you have a paid subscription, but we’re deliberately being picky here. As the usual FYI, Sony’s PlayStation Plus store offers three tiers, which we explained in full detail here.

Besides Stray, what are the other PS Plus November offers
Oh, right…there are usually three free games given every monthly update: taking Stray out of the equation (because, you know, we’ve already talked about it), the other two left are *drum roll*…
- EA Sports WRC 24
- Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
The first is the FIA’s official rally racer, in videogame form. Much like other titles, like Formula 1 and NASCAR, this is recently-sold Electronic Arts territory, with its brand licensing partnerships that brought us the FIFA games (although that ship has sailed in recent years).
In the specific case of WRC 24, though, that is the final game published by the (Saudi-?) American publisher, as the brand licence deal went to Nacon for future editions of the game. Opencritic puts it in a 78/100 average score, so it’s a solid, polished experience for racing fans.
As for Totally Accurate Battle Simulator — or TABS, for short — we’re talking about a physics-based battle simulator with single player and multiplayer support. The game encompasses two modes (Campaign and Sandbox) where players have to amass resources, build an army and, over time, battle other players or AI opponents for victory.
Despite the simple premise, the game has a solid 7.5 out of 10 score, so it might be entertaining to get — especially as a PlayStation freebie.

All three games will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and the download links will open next Tuesday (November 4th) — same date where October offers will be pulled out of the store so, you know, if you’re hankerin’ for some Alan Wake 2 goodness, you better hurry up.
