At PlayRatedGames, we believe in a simple premise: gaming coverage should be for real players, not for search engine algorithms or AI scrapers. We want to provide reviews, guides, and news that actually matter to you. But to do that effectively—and to keep this project growing—we need to know who “you” actually are.
Because we prioritize your privacy and don’t use invasive tracking cookies to follow you around the web, we actually know very little about our audience by design. We don’t know what platforms you play on most, how you discovered us, or what kind of coverage you’re craving more of.

Why are we asking?
There are two main reasons this data is vital for an independent site like ours:
1. Better Content and Delivery Are you finding us through Twitter? Discord? Or are you a direct-bookmark veteran? Do you prefer long-form deep dives into game mechanics, or quick-hit news updates? Knowing how you consume PlayRatedGames helps us decide where to put our energy. If everyone tells us they want more indie game spotlights or more video content, that’s exactly what we’ll pivot toward.
2. Keeping the Lights On To keep our journalism independent, we need to find ways to sustain the site. If we ever partner with brands or run sponsorships, we want them to be relevant to you. If 80% of our readers are RPG fanatics, it doesn’t make sense for us to show you ads for the latest racing sim. By telling us a bit about your interests, you help us ensure that any future support for the site is actually tailored to things you might care about, rather than random junk.
