Riot Games has officially unveiled Miks as the newest Valorant agent, the 30th agent to be precise. It will be the latest addition to the suite of Controller agents, and a unique one at that, as part of Season 2026 Act 2. Miks is the first Controller to possess healing ability in any capacity.
This means Controller-main Valorant players now have something new to look forward to. If you have questions like who Miks is, what his abilities are, and what makes him different, we are here to answer them. This article details everything you need to know about Miks.
Who Is Miks in Valorant?

Miks is the 30th overall and seventh Controller agent in Valorant. The official description for the Croatian agent reads, “Straight from Croatia, Miks takes the stage channeling pure sound energy. With his infectious passion and sonic powers, he rallies his squad to move as one as they set the tempo on the battlefield together.”
His sonic abilities allow him to retune the energy levels of his allies. He wears “high-tech gloves” that let him moderate and amplify the sound waves to get desired outcomes. His special device lets him alter sonic waves in a way that they have physiological effects, such as concussion or healing, on people around him. This brings us to the fact that Miks is the first Valorant Controller agent with the ability to heal his team members.
Valorant Agent Miks Background Details

Miks is said to have an upbeat and motivating personality. This means players can expect teasing comments and motivational lines during the playthrough. Riot Games said that while working on the new agent’s persona, they wanted to focus on qualities that would resonate with Croatian players.
They decided to go with these three main qualities: Loyalty, Directness, and Humor. You will spot a monster face on his shirt collar. It is said to be inspired by Croatian folklore and represents Miks’ spirit and party animal energy. He also appears to have some sort of connection to the underground EDM scene, but not much is known about that.
Valorant Agent Miks Abilities

Like every other agent in Valorant, Miks’ arsenal includes two basic abilities, one signature ability, and one ultimate ability.
Harmonize (Q)
It is a Combat Stim ability that adds a shared buff to you and the targeted ally. It can be used by equipping Harmonize and using FIRE. The good thing is that the buff gets refreshed with each kill by you and your ally. If you want to apply the stim to just yourself, use the ALT FIRE. All in all, this ability adds an extra oomph when you want to be aggressive.
M-PULSE (C)
Equip M-PULSE and use ALT FIRE to choose between Concuss and Healing. Once settled, use FIRE to throw the device. It will start sending sound waves that will either concuss opponents or heal your allies based on what you choose.
Waveform (E)
Waveform is Miks’s smoking ability that lets you set smokes at your desired locations. Use it by equipping Map Targeter, FIRE to select locations on the map, and ALT FIRE to deploy smokes at those locations. The role of FIRE and ALT FIRE is reversed for console players.
Bassquake (X)
Bassquake is the ultimate ability for Miks. You will need to equip this ability and build it up using FIRE. This will unleash a Sonic Radiance forward that will knock back, deafen, and slow any enemies that get caught in it.

Final Thoughts

Miks’ healing abilities make him part of a rare club among Valorant agents. He is only the third agent, after Sage and Skye, who can provide healing support to team members. His other abilities are similar to those of Brimstone and Breach. This means if you enjoy playing with those agents but want the advantage of healing powers, Miks could be worth the shot. However, we all know a Valoran agent could feel different during the actual gameplay from what its powers/abilities suggest in theory. This is the reason we suggest you wait for Miks’ official release before forming any opinion.
