Kuro Games is slowly but surely outlining the main features of the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update, due to land on all platforms on December 25th, 2025. And this update is anything but “just cosmetic”. And in order to celebrate, the company released a whole bunch of trailers to make sure fans get that early anticipation feeling.

According to the Chinese publisher, the contents that will grace the game’s next major change include a little bit of everything: there’s the obvious bug fixes and quality-of-life upgrades (although, nothing like the Rover build preset feature we got a few updates ago), but those are not the meaty bits you’ll be expecting the most.

Oh, no: Wuthering Waves 3.0 — better referred to as “We Who See the Stars” — will bring a new region for protagonist Rover to travel, solve major, world-ending problems and fulfill a bunch of exploration, tutorial and occasional side quests that promise to supplement an already massively scoped title.

In fact, the new region of Lahai-Roi seems to be so big, you’ll even get a new vehicle — a motorcycle of sorts — to take care of some of those objectives.

So this is shaping up to be a pretty hefty update: if you’re into gacha but want to try something different than Genshin Impact or Where Winds Meet, read on for a quick breakdown.

Wuthering Waves 3.0: “We Who See the Stars” Breakdown

As we said, the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update — “We Who See the Stars” — will be ready for download on December 25, 2025 (UTC+8) and it will introduce the new, expansive region of Lahai-Roi, which is fairly continental-sized and featured tons of smaller areas.

Also, two new Resonators will be featured on this update’s main Convene banners, but they won’t be alone, as returning characters like Iuno, Augusta and several others are also due to make an appearance on the smaller banners.

The highlight of the update is the Expedition Motorbike, a vehicle that will help you traverse the entire region and will be made available through the Utility menu (either on the full view or the radial access).
