EA has officially kicked off the first Battlefield 6 free trial for everyone ahead of the Thanksgiving weekend. The goal is to give interested players a chance to try out the “Best Selling Shooter of 2025” (as per EA) and decide if it’s worth $70. The free trial is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Here is everything that you need to know.

Battlefield 6 Free Trial Dates

Battlefield 6 free trial went live on November 25 at 4 AM PT (12 PM UTC). Players can experience the Battlefield 6 multiplayer for free until December 2 at 4 AM PT (12 PM UTC).

What’s Included in Battlefield 6 Free Trial?

EA says Battlefield 6 free trial features three playlists: Initiation Breakthrough, Close Quarters Battle, and All-Out Warfare. The first playlist is aimed at players who are either new to the Battlefield franchise or looking for a casual experience. Each match has 48 players, which is a mix of real players and bots. All players are divided into two teams, Attackers and Defenders, with specific objectives to complete for victory.

The second playlist focuses on smaller, team tactical gameplay with two modes: Team Deathmatch and Sabotage. The first mode is your typical deathmatch, where you either eliminate the opponent or get eliminated. The second mode will have teams looking to attack or defend high-profile cargo. The goal is to be the team with the most number of cargoes destroyed.

The last playlist, All Out Warfare, is the one you should try if you are looking for the real Battlefield multiplayer experience. Players can choose from three modes: Conquest, Escalation, and Breakthrough. The maps included in all these playlists are Eastwood, Siege of Cairo, and Blackwell Fields.

How to Play Battlefield 6 Free Trial?

Battlefield 6 free trial is accessible through Battlefield REDSEC, a free-to-play multiplayer experience released a couple of months ago. Download REDSEC on your preferred platform (PC or gaming console) and jump into free trial modes. The good thing is that if you already play REDSCE, all of your current progress will carry over to the free trial. Similarly, free trial progress will carry over to the complete Battlefield 6 experience if and when you choose to buy the game.
