Sports Interactive and Apple have confirmed Football Manager 26 Touch will release on Apple Arcade on November 4. It is a day-one release for the mobile version of the latest iteration of the popular football management simulation game. The game will be available across a wide range of Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
Football Manager 26 Touch Apple Arcade Release Details
The latest announcement means Apple Arcade subscribers will not incur any additional costs to play Football Manager 26 Touch. It means no in-app purchases, ads, or any upfront fee. This is the third sports game to land on the subscription service in recent times and joins NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and NFL Retro Bowl ’26.
As the name suggests, Football Manager 26 Touch puts you in the shoes of a football (soccer for American readers) manager. The “Touch” in the name signifies it is the mobile version of the game that will also release on desktop and consoles.
Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive said,
“We’re delighted to be bringing FM26 Touch back to Apple Arcade for the start of this new era for Football Manager. We think the reimagined user interface will really enhance the experience across Apple devices. In addition, the arrival of the Premier League fully licensed and the introduction of women’s football will further deepen exploration for Arcade players.”
Football Manager 2026: What’s New?
Football Manager 2026 is the first video game in the series to be developed on the Unity Engine. Sports Interactive worked on the Unity Engine for Football Manager 2025 as well, but it had to cancel the game due to quality issues. This means it is the first release in the lineup since the Football Manager 2024 launch in November 2023.
The upcoming release from Sports Interactive promises a host of changes for football manager simulation fans. One of the biggest changes in FM26 is the integration of women’s football. This is the first time that players will be able to manage women’s football leagues and teams from around the world.

Another first in Football Manager 26 is a fully-licensed Premier League. The game will offer official club names, badges, kits, and player photos. This will enhance the immersion for players who prefer to manage PL clubs.

The team has overhauled the whole user interface and experience to make it more intuitive to manage clubs. These changes are expected to make it easier for you to keep an eye of everything happening in and around your club.

The switch to Unity Engine will bring over 7,000 new animations with improved lighting and shadow effects. There will be unique and new 3D models for both men’s and women’s football players. Players will also feel a difference in the whole matchday experience and notice more details in stadiums.
Football Manager 26 and Football Manager 26 Touch are set to arrive on November 4. Both titles are up for pre-order across all major platforms worldwide. If you are a Nintendo Switch user, you will have to wait until December 4 for the release. The studio will also release Football Manager 26 Mobile exclusively for Netflix subscribers on Android and iOS on November 4.
