Kinetic Games has kicked off its latest time-limited Phasmophobia event in collaboration with Alan Wake. The event is officially Phasmophobia by Alan Wake and brings the mystical world of Alan Wake 2 to the paranormal horror game.
Players have new mysteries to unravel, collectables to find, and cosmetics to earn. This Phasmophobia Alan Wake event guide explains everything you need to know.
What is the Phasmophobia Alan Wake event?
The Phasmophobia Alan Wake event is a new collaborative in-game event. It has locations inspired by the Dark Place in Alan Wake 2. You will come face-to-face with Words of Power, Dark Presence, and puzzles as you look to solve the mystery. Event Points are awarded for performing specific actions that count towards Personal and Community Goals. You can earn event-exclusive rewards by completing these goals. The event can be played in both single and multiplayer modes. It went live on May 12 and is scheduled to last until June 2.
Phasmophobia Alan Wake Event Map Locations

The Alan Wake event is available across four Phasmophobia map locations that have been renamed and revamped as per Alan Wake aesthetics.
- Camp Woodwind is Coffe World
- Nell’s Diner is Oh Deer Diner
- Bleasdale Farmhouse is Elderwood Palace Lodge
- Grafton Farmhouse is Cauldron Lake
If you have played Alan Wake 2 or are familiar with the game’s world through YouTube or other media, these new map names will instantly remind you of the game’s chilling and mysterious world.
How to Earn Event Points in Phasmophobia Alan Wake Event?
The first step is to choose the event location you want to investigate on the Contract Voting board. Once you are at the location, make sure to take the Angel Lamp from the investigation truck. You will have to shine the Angel Lamp on the shadow figures, aka Dark Presence, whenever you come across one. It is the only way to make them go away, and you will earn 2 Event Points for removing a shadow figure.

The next way to earn Event Points is by revealing Words of Power. Use UV light to look for yellow-colored arrows and follow them until you come across a circular shape made of words. Shine the UV light on this shape of words until it disappears. You will get 2 Event Points for revealing each Words of Power. The last objective is to identify each ghost correctly. This will give you 10 Event Points for each correct identification.
Note: At least x1.00 difficulty multiplier is needed to earn Event Points.
Phasmophobia Alan Wake Event Doll Puzzles

As you move around the event locations banishing Dark Presence, identifying ghosts, and performing other activities, you will come across dolls hidden in different places. A lot of these dolls are merely for collectible purposes, but a few of them are needed to solve doll puzzles. Pay close attention while looking for dolls, as these are hard to spot and easy to miss.
- First Doll Puzzle: Place the Moose doll on the tree symbol and the Deer doll on the house symbol.
- Second Doll Puzzle: Place the Child doll on the sun, the Father doll on the house, and the Old Man doll on the waves symbol.
- Third Doll Puzzle: Place the Child doll on the tree, the Princess doll on the eye, the Father doll on the heart, and the Jester doll on the sun symbol.
