Sony is preparing for the Halloween season by adding Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. These are two of the most talked-about horror video games launched in the past year. The latest catalog refresh features a few more horror titles to ensure this spooky season does not feel vanilla to gamers. Another notable addition is the classic Tekken 3 for PlayStation Premium subscribers.

Silent Hill 2 (PS5)
Silent Hill 2 (remake) was one of the most anticipated remakes of 2024. It is a PlayStation 5 remake of the popular horror game of the same name from 2001. It tells the story of James Sunderland, who arrives in the strange and deserted town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his wife. However, his wife died three years ago, and yet the letter claims she is waiting for him in the town. The psychological horror is a must-play video game for anyone who is a fan of the genre or horror games in general.
Until Dawn (PS5)
Until Dawn is another PS5 remake, but this one is an interactive survival horror video game. Its story revolves around eight friends who reunite at the same place where two members of their group disappeared a year ago. Since it is an interactive game, everyone’s life depends on your actions and choices. Your choices will decide if everyone dies, everyone survives, or some survive and others die. It means you can play this game multiple times to get different outcomes.
