WWE 2K25 is celebrating John Cena’s farewell tour with a new special edition and edition pack. It is officially called WWE 2K25 John Cena Farewell Tour Edition and WWE 2K25 John Cena Farewell Tour Edition Pack. The special pack was teased yesterday and unveiled today at the IGN Fall Fan Fest 2025. It offered a glimpse of the new playable John Cena personas and cosmetic items included in the pack.

A short 3:30-minute YouTube video offered us our first look at the WWE 2K25 John Cena Farewell Tour Edition. It starts with an introduction from none other than R-Truth, a WWE superstar, who consistently refers to John Cena as his childhood hero. The video then shows different personas of both these superstars, followed by a few of the moves in a tag-team match.
WWE 2K25 John Cena Farewell Tour Edition will feature the following contents:

- Dr. of Thuganomics John Cena
- Brock Lesnar
- Ron Cena
- Five Farewell Tour t-shirt cosmetic items
Unfortunately, the gameplay reveal video did not offer any look at Brock Lesnar, who returned to the squared-ring action in August.
WWE legend and record 17-time world champion John Cena announced he would retire from professional wrestling in 2025 last year. This resulted in WWE kicking off John Cena’s farewell tour earlier this year. The tour is close to its end with only four more dates left. He is set to wrestle the last match of his career on December 13 in Washington D.C., but the opponent is a mystery for the time being.
In other news, WWE 2K25 released Attitude Era DLC last month. It features Mark Henry, D’Lo Brown, “Road Dogg” Jesse James, “Badd Ass” Billy Gunn, and Victoria. These are four of the popular superstars from the WWE Attitude Era that lasted from 1997 to 2002. The game further added Hall of Famers Goldberg and Nikki Bella as part of the Hall of Legends expansion in The Island mode. This is a paid pack that adds the two legends to the special mode as well as other game modes.
