In Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, the items you can get through foraging and exploration can net you some pretty sizable rewards, and there is no better example of this than the Dragon Plant.
Interestingly, while the plant itself is rare, it is also easy to track down and mark for further farming. This makes it extremely versatile, and despite the long initial trek required to get it, you should definitely keep it in mind while playing the game.
Here’s how to find and farm the Dragon Plant in Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.
Where to Find the Dragon Plant

The Dragon Plant is an exclusive resource found only in the Dragon’s Grave region of the map. The first time you go there, it can be a bit of a slog. Despite being easily accessible (there’s no invisible wall stopping you, and you can reach it very early in the game), Dragon’s Grave is far away—especially if you’re traveling from Liones. As frustrating as this may be, you’ll have to push through it.
While the entire region is full of Dragon Plant nodes, the easiest one to reach is directly north of the region’s entrance. You’ll eventually need to climb a ledge, from which you can spot a large rock formation—that’s how you know you’re in the right place. As an added bonus, there’s a Warp Stone nearby that you can activate to teleport to this spot on future visits.
However, this area is also home to a World Boss called “Draco General.” He isn’t too tough if you’re properly leveled, but he’s also not particularly rewarding to fight. The issue is that he stands right beside one of the nodes, so approaching it will immediately trigger his aggro. If you want to avoid this, hug the left side of the screen and choose the node farthest from him, possibly using nearby rock formations to stay out of his line of sight.
Finally, keep in mind that the entire Dragon’s Grave region contains Dragon Plant nodes, so you can always search elsewhere—this location is simply the easiest.
Key Uses for the Dragon Plant

Dragon Plants can be farmed for three main purposes: mission requirements, character progression, and potion crafting:
- High-Quality Potions: A primary ingredient for crafting supreme recovery potions. These restore about 250 HP, so it’s useful to keep a few stocked.
- Character Progression: Dreyfus’ Rapier requires Dragon Plants for upgrades.
- Mission Requirements: Reaching level 15 in the “Path of the Hero” requires you to collect 15 Dragon Plants.
Final Thoughts

Like many other items, Seven Deadly Sins: Origin rewards players who explore. While it’s easy to wander into high-level areas, most dungeons are manageable and won’t pose much of a challenge if you’re focused on gathering resources.
Given that the Dragon Plant’s benefits outweigh the effort required to obtain it, it’s definitely an item worth keeping around—even after you’ve fulfilled its more specific uses.
Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available as a free download on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android, with optional microtransactions.
