Sony has unveiled a new collection of colors called Hyperpop Collection for PlayStation 5 console covers and DualSense wireless controllers. It has taken a brighter and bolder approach to the otherwise subtle Red, Green, and Blue paint jobs. These colors are officially named Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue in the Hyperpop Collection. As you might have guessed by now, this new collection should be your pick if you are looking for a vibe that makes your PlayStation 5 and DualSense controller pop in your gaming room.
PlayStation Hyperpop Collection Details and Price
Each color finish in the Hyperpop Collection has glossy blacks that shift into bright and shiny neons. Sony says these new color shades are inspired by the glow of RGB lights in gaming setups of players. The team’s objective with the new collection is clearly to make them pop out the most in the room.
Sae Kobayashi of the PlayStation’s Color, Material, and Finish design team said,
A seamless gradient wraps around the front and back of the DualSense, finished in a high-gloss coat that makes the colors POP more than ever. The console covers are also getting the same glow-up, featuring a subtle hint of transparency.

PlayStation Hyperpop Collection Price and Pre-orders
Sony has revealed that PlayStation 5 console covers in the Hyperpop Collection will be available in limited quantities in select markets. It is priced at a RRP of USD 74.99/GBP 64.99/EUR 74.99. The RRP for Hyperpop Collection DualSense wireless controllers is USD 84.99/GBP 74.99/EUR 84.99.
The whole collection will go on pre-orders starting January 16 and will launch on March 12. It will be available via PlayStation Direct and participating retailers depending on the region.
