Valve has officially revealed the 2025 Steam Awards winners after receiving over 43 million votes across categories. Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong has grabbed the Game of the Year trophy. It beat the competition from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Dispatch, Arc Raiders, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to win the top prize. It is also the only game to win two different awards across the 11 categories available this year.

The second trophy won by Silksong is the Best Game You Suck At Award. This category was aimed at games that reward persistence and are touted to be one of the toughest to play. Elden Ring: Nightreign was among the finalists for the prize. Now, you might be wondering, did Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 win anything? The answer is yes, as it managed to grab the trophy for the Best Soundtrack Award.

For the uninformed, the 2025 Steam Awards winners were selected by the Steam community. Anyone with a valid and non-limited Steam account was eligible to vote in the awards. Each player was allowed to vote for one game in each category, but they could change that vote until the deadline, i.e., January 3, 11:30 PM GMT.
